Scavenger Hunt Assignment:


Search for "keratin" in the UCSC Browser. Is there more than one gene for keratin?
• If yes, how many?
• Locate a gene for "Keratin-1."
• Are other keratin genes located near it? Describe the arrangement and location of keratin genes. Do they seem to form clusters on various places in the genome?
