• Go to the UCSC genome Browser and type in "tubulin."

Scavenger Hunt Assignment:

Approximately how many tubulin genes are there?
• How many of these genes are associated with alpha? How many with beta?
• Are there other forms besides alpha and beta?
• Are there any human chromosomes that don't contain a member of the "tubulin family?" If yes, list them.
